Everything my buddy Duff touches becomes both magically enchanted and twelve times more hilarious. Hanging out with Duff is like being with all Three Wise Men and all Three Stooges at the same time. You might think that wouldn’t work with an adversary like unending physical pain but, then again, maybe you don’t know Duff. The good news for you is that she has distilled the endless torment of sarcoidosis into words: words of empowerment, words of survival, words of positive energy and forward movement. Through it all, she’s still a crack-up.
